The challenge
NGI had already been in touch with Danpo A/S regarding specification of our certified hygienic levelling feet. Once NGI launched the certified hygienic bearing houses, Danpo A/S was interested in testing them to compare them to the bearing they were currently using.
The solution
NGI sent free bearing house samples to Danpo A/S for testing. The bearing houses were installed on a conveyor belt and were tested for three months to conclude on whether or not they could create any advantages for Danpo A/S.
The effect
Danpo A/S says: "The bearing hosues from NGI increases the safety of our production environment as they are lubrication free and no grease can fall onto products or the production floor. Furthermore, by systematically using the bearing houses throughout our production, there will be significant savings on lubrication and in manhours needed to change the bearings."
